We bought this changing table for our first son becuase it was fairly cheap and matched our other nursery furniture. Construction was easy but the changing pad was very thin with a tear on one side (so we flipped it over). It held all of our many baby belongings on the two bottom shelves with plenty of room to spare. Our problem was that after a few months of our son 'leaking' on the top shelf, the particle board cracked and broke. Although we would clean up the 'spill' each time, the particle board was just too weak. My husband had to go to our local home improvement store and buy plexiglass to replace it with. We haven't had any problems since then. It made it through the second boy without a problem and has even been used in our home daycare.

Great Table!

We selected this table b/c it matched our crib and was much cheaper in price than ones of the same color. I was apprehensive after reading reviews about flimsy construction and such, but I'm happy to say that after nearly ten months, it's held up well! The shelves are both long enough and wide enough to hold a great variety of items; we keep them filled with our baby's entire collection of cloth diapers, towels, diaper wipes, etc. etc. and still have plenty of room. The wood has an excellent finish and has held up nicely. The changing pad provided with it was indeed rather flat and cheap, but I found that by replacing it with a thicker, curved model, my daughter was comfortable and the sloped sides made it perfectly safe. This type of pad can be purchased at [local store], and made this table fantastic! Only now am I beginning to think of retiring it for her b/c she has become way too squirmy, but I got plenty of use out of it and will be using it for our next one shortly. Couldn't ask for more for such a reasonable price.

The top of the Table collapsed TWICE!!!!!

We bought this changing table for our baby when he came home.
A few months ago he weighed under 20lbs and the top collapsed with him on it!!!! Luckily he was ok! I called the Evenflo Co. and they replaced the top. Just last week my baby boy was sitting on the top after changing him and he fell through again!!! I am going to call them and request my money be reimbursed. I suggest they recall this table....and if your going to purchase one....make sure the top is more sturdy than this one. Thank you, AD.
